The workers are very receptive and respectful. No long wait. Usually they tell you the order will be ready in 15 minutes but mostly comes out earlier than expected. Their souvlakis are the best!

Hoagie Haven: A Review of Princeton's Legendary Institution Located right on Nassau Street in Princeton, New Jersey, Hoagie Haven is the undisputed champion of the "fat sandwich"—a culinary genre featuring hoagie rolls aggressively stuffed with classic fillings and deep-fried sides. This bustling, unpretentious, and often late-night institution is a rite of passage for students and locals alike, famous for colossal, indulgent creations like the Sanchez (chicken cutlet, mozzarella sticks, fries, and their proprietary Sanchez Sauce) and the Phat Lady (cheesesteak, mozzarella sticks, and fries). Built on fresh bread sourced from the Italian People's Bakery, Hoagie Haven delivers massive portions, tremendous value, and comforting, messy flavors. While traditional cheesesteaks and cold hoagies are available, the true "Haven" experience is embracing the decadence of their unique specialty sandwiches. Just remember to bring your appetite, and be aware that they have historically been cash-preferred. Final Verdict Rating: 5/5 Must-Try: The Sanchez or The Phat Lady

The best late night eats and cheap eats in town. There is a certain mood that gets someone to crave a giant hoagie at 11 pm and those needs are met every single time. Decent price and great hoagies. Sanchez with extra Sanchez sauce is a classic move.

Discovered this place simply just walking the Ave. when i tell you the food here is amazing. I can’t believe i never knew about it. My only suggestion is to not try anything with the Mac n cheese. It did not taste good. My sandwich was perfect without it.

Hoagie Haven was recommended to us by someone who grew up in the Princeton area. We went on a Saturday early evening around 5pm. We walked in and used the touch screen to order, as directed by the staff once we shared we were paying with a card. The staff was busy filling orders, and they were friendly to interact with. This is a carry out establishment, so ambiance is sort of a silly rating, but it was a pleasant place to stand inside and wait for your food. They have a variety of hot subs, cold subs, and specials. We ordered 3 6-inch subs. The portions were very generous! Fries were fine and onion rings were tasty. We liked the cheese steak and chicken cheese steak, just be wanted they are made with long, flat, thin strips of meat rather than shredded thin pieces like a traditional cheese steak. Still delicious!

This place definitely met the high expectations I went in with. I got their most popular whole hoagie (the Sanchez) for a total of $18 with tax. It came with mozzarella sticks, fries, chicken cutlet pieces, and their "Sanchez" sauce. It was humongous and was extremely filling and delicious. Every bite was so good! My friend got their cheesesteak and it was also amazing. I am definitely coming back to this Nassau Street staple.

I got the Wake-Up Call and the #1 cold hoagie. Both were delicious and huge. Highly recommend.

Danggggg. That jawn was massive. Creative sandwiches. Delicious flavors. Definitely a must stop by when in Princeton. At first, we were kind of pissed that 2 14inch sandwiches was $45, and then we received them and we were very happy. We had enough for lunch and dinner and it was delishhhhh. Not much places to sit but we walked down the street to Ivy Inn and sat at their outdoor picnic tables to have our hoagies.
